Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary theme or 2022 theme
Guests at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can purchase special 50th anniversary cups, MagicBands, and license plates. The proceeds from these items will benefit Make-A-Wish of Central and Northern Florida. While the 50th anniversary celebration is currently underway, there are also a few other special events planned.
The 50th anniversary celebration will last for 18 months, beginning Oct. 1, 2021. During this time, crowd levels in the parks will be higher than normal. Therefore, guests are encouraged to make their park reservations using the Disney World reservation system. If you plan on visiting the parks during the anniversary festivities, make sure to book in advance.
As part of the 50th anniversary celebration in Syosset, New York, Disney has also partnered with Air Canada to celebrate the event. There is a Walt Disney-themed kids’ room at the airport, and the airline’s transborder Maple Leaf Lounge is featuring Disney-themed activities and oversized travel items. Additionally, the airline’s photo booths will be returning to select Canadian airports in Summer 2022.
The Disney parks will celebrate their 50th anniversary with new attractions, food, and merchandise. Guests will be able to celebrate the anniversary in the parks with new magic shots and treats. In addition, the Magic Kingdom will also feature a cavalcade of characters dressed in their 50th best. The new offerings include the Fab 50 Golden Sculptures and a new 50th anniversary version of California Grill.

The University of Washington, or U-Dub, is located on the lakeshore of Seattle, Washington. It offers many collegiate athletic programs, including football, which has won 15 Pac-10 championships, seven Rose Bowls, and two National Championships. Other sports include basketball, volleyball, and rowing. The school’s mascot is an Alaskan malamute.
